Jimmy Carter Was A Proud Lion
Subligna Valley Productions produced a tribute video for the Lions of Georgia.
Hey, Y’all! Did you know that Jimmy Carter was a longtime member of the Lions Club?
When President Carter returned to Plains, Georgia, after serving in the Navy, he joined the Plains Lions Club and he credited Lions for all that he has been able to accomplish.1
To pay tribute to President Carter, the Lions of Georgia commissioned Subligna Valley Productions to produce a tribute video.
As a Lion, I, Steve Williams, am truly humbled to take on this project on behalf of my fellow Georgia Lions and hope that this tribute does President Carter justice.
NOTE: No monetary or in-kind compensation was received for the production of this video.
And now, without further adieu, here’s the video…
President Carter, thank you, sir, for all your selfless service to our nation and our world, and may God rest your soul.
A special thanks to The Carter Center for the Lions photos from their archives.
Last, but not least, thank you, my fellow Georgia Lions, for your input and support of this project.
Do you have a heart for service? If so, then the Lions need YOU! For more information and to find (or form) a club near you, please visit LionsClubs.org.
That’s it for now. Thank you for reading and watching, be kind to one another, and until next time…
Peace Out, Y’all!
